Remember Reinier and Alet from their Aviation engagement shoot, well today I get to share with you their wedding.
This wedding was very close to my heart as we consider these two not just a friends but family. You see Reinier and my husband go way back to school days and have ever since been friends. Reinier was the first friend I actually met of my husband’s when we just started dating.
So after a very expensive and long evening of cocktails we carved it in stone that I would photograph their wedding. 🙂
So the wedding planning started for them. Lucky for me I was a bit more involved in their wedding than just the photos I got the opportunity to help them with their wedding website, invites and their menu designs.
On the day as my husband was Reinier’s bestman I enlisted a friend and fellow photographer Elize to help capture the day. (Thanks Elize!!)
Everything about this day was perfect and exactly who these two are. The only missing thing was their two-beagle dogs …
These two got married at the beautiful River place country estate, which was the perfect backdrop to their wedding day. Not only was the food amazing but the vibe was so much fun.
To Reinier and Alet, I am so thankful and honoured that you asked me capture this special day for you and that I could have been so involved in so much of your wedding.
I know that the both of you are preparing for this new exciting journey life has given you and we are so excited for you!
