DGR the Brand

Welcome to 2017, the year of new and exciting things.

This year started off as per normal for me, following my dreams and working hard at it.

I felt like the DGR brand needed a new look and new vibe.

Over the last couple of years the DGR brand and myself had grown so much, looking back from where I started I could not believe the change…

So I was excited and looking forward to this new era of DGR. I started looking for designers to help, but I quickly realized at this point that rebranding might not be in the stars for me this year.

So on I went happy with my current grey and pink logo I created. (I do still love this logo)

It was not until a good old friend of mine crossed my mind.  I knew I had to ask her if she was up for a challenge to help out a friend. Lucky for me she agreed.

Without hesitating or meeting up she got right into it . She asked me to send her a few things I like, so on to pinterest I went for inspiration. I looked at all the pretty and girly logos and started to dream about this new brand again.

After a few days…

( yes, days.. she is that awesome) she sent me the first draft. Now Vanessa does not know this but I excitedly opened the pdf and to my surprise these concepts was not really those “pinterest logos”…

To my surprise I noticed something in the designs. These logos were not the typical online logos or something that can be copied… no these designs were a representation of me…boy was I shocked, she gave me a design that shouted me, my personality and my style but most of all she gave me a logo that represented where I was heading! I could not have been more in love!

 

After a few back and forth the logo was done.

I spent some time thinking about how will I go about launching it. I did not want to just upload it.

I wanted to celebrate it as for me this is the dawn of a new era for DGR.

So how does a photographer celebrate… we photograph stuff 😉

 I am so excited to announce the new logo! Have a look at our really cool new branding!!
